
How Mercury and TalentLynk are transforming recruitment operations one conversation at a time
In a recent podcast, Kyle Dix, Mercury was joined by Omar Zafar, Co-Founder of our telephony partner TalentLynk, alongside two clients: Anna from SEC Life Sciences and Alex from Oyster. Alex from Oyster shared a real-world example where a client preferred to communicate only through WhatsApp. With the integration, those conversations were visible to the whole team, enabling them to move quickly and close a deal that might otherwise have been missed. Reducing Admin, Improving Quality By automating note-taking and call transcriptions, TalentLynk frees consultants from admin tasks and allows them to focus on building rapport. The quality of data has improved dramatically, with AI summaries and templates making post-call actions, like interview debriefs, faster and more consistent. This has also improved the experience for support teams, who no longer face incomplete or missing notes. Oyster reported a 14% increase in total sales calls and a 32% increase in candidate calls since rolling out the integration. Based on conversion rates, that equates to an estimated 18 additional placements and roughly £22,000 in extra GP per consultant over a year. Just as important, consultants are spending more time on quality conversations and less time on admin.
